I/KG 40 - one of a batch of 10 pre-production aircraft . Attached to Flugbereitschaft RLM (Reich Air Ministry Pool) at Berlin-Staaken, it was operated in this temporary winter camouflage for Stalingrad supply/relief flights out of Zaparozhe in January 1943.
